I'm 67 years old and retired. I no longer dress for success. I dress for comfort. I'm no longer climbing the corporate ladder and I no longer dine where $200 meals are served on white table clothes. During the 12 years of my retirement, my wife and I have visited 144 microbreweries in 15 states. That's the type of environment where we are comfortable and feel at home. And in that environment, it's enough that your clothes are comfortable and cover your essentials.

Just a guess, but how many times have you worn the same hat to one of those breweries?

Excellent question. I have a hat from Veterans United Brewery in Jacksonville that I have worn to numerous breweries in Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, and Colorado. I've worn my hat from the National Senior Games to breweries in Canon City, Buena Vista and Leadville. It boggles the mind trying to keep track.

There it is! I’m sure putting on either gets some memories of all those brews pouring back. Reminds me of this John Deere hat I wore while hiking 700 miles on the Appalachian Trail. Every time I wore it once home, I could’ve been back out there.

Now there's a good brewery conversation...compare and contrast hiking the Appalachian trails and Colorado trails.

Reading your story in the Parker room wearing my (original) Grateful Dad tee shirt.

That about sums it up

Love you
