Gosh, you're profound! Been there, done that - I think I can help. Along with the story we're publishing, I write a weekly "The Author's Thoughts on ..." Two days ago I wrote on Camaraderie. If I could ever figure out how to send you the piece, it's tailor made for you. I'm not scheduled to publish it for another few weeks, but happy to share early if it'd help.
Second, I stumbled across Mike Hoffmann this morning on "X" (@MrPassive_). He's interviewed a lot of old people - you know, my age, asking them about their life's regrets, lessons and advice. The piece features eight of his interviews. IT'S SPOT ON! For Hoffmann to only be in his early thirties, he's pretty well figured out life.
Both his interview and my early release article pretty well bracket your comments. I hope it all can help, and let me know how to get you my article.
I'm turning 70. I'm going to have a lunch where I invite a good friend from each decade of life.

I often celebrate my birthday by having a one-on-one breakfast date with the different friend everyday for 7 days. It's my birthday week!
Come my birthday in July, I'm doing this.
Love that, Alvin. I'd like to hear about what kind of through-lines you see across all the years.
What a great idea!
Martin, a great post with an even greater message. Appreciate you sharing it.
Thanks for the kind words, Jim!
Alone does not have to mean you're lonely! Very inspired by the photograph comment. I didn't know that. Thank you! Photos around the house...
Thanks bud, I've sent it on.
Really well written Marty. Great insights
Thanks, Judy!
An intelligent article, as well as relatable.
Thanks, Henya!
