As it happens, this story came about as a writing exercise when working on my novel. Couldn't figure out the scene from the protagonist's perspective (the tramp), so I wrote it from the minor character's (the Walmart girl). So, actually, I have written the whole book, hah. Just need to find someone to publish it . . . who knew writing was the easy part of publishing?
